Terms and conditions

• By submitting an Expression of Interest and/or participating in a trial, players, parents and guardians acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions relating to the West Adelaide U18 and Reserves Development Squad selection process:
  
  • All players, coaches, parents/guardians, officials and spectators are expected to comply with West Adelaide Soccer Club policies, standards and codes of conduct.
  • Disrespectful, inappropriate, reckless or unsafe behaviour towards coaches, officials, volunteers, other players or spectators will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the selection process.
  • Submission of an Expression of Interest does not guarantee an invitation to trial or selection within the U18 or Reserves Development Squad.
  • Players may be invited to trial based on the information provided through the Expression of Interest and the club's assessment of individual players.
  • The club reserves the right to make offers to players at any stage of the selection process, including prior to the commencement or completion of trial sessions.
  • Players invited to trial must wear appropriate football attire, including suitable footwear and shin guards.
  • Trialists must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the advised session start time to check in and prepare.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries must be declared as part of registration and communicated to club staff where appropriate.
  • Players participate in trials at their own risk. The club, its staff, coaches and volunteers are not responsible for injury, loss or damage except where required by law.
  • Players will only be supervised during scheduled trial sessions. Parents/guardians remain responsible for players before and after each session.
  • Attendance at a trial does not guarantee selection.
  • Players will be assessed by relevant West Adelaide technical staff, coordinators and coaches.
  • Selection decisions will be made throughout and following the assessment and trial process.
  • Trial invitations, outcomes and/or offers will be communicated directly to players and/or parents/guardians using the contact details provided during registration.
  • Successful players will be required to accept their offer and pay the $600 registration deposit within 24 hours of receiving their offer, unless otherwise advised by the club.
  • Failure to accept the offer and pay the required deposit within the specified timeframe may result in the position being offered to another player.
  • Trial dates, times, venues and other details may be changed where required. Any changes will be communicated to affected players.
  • West Adelaide Soccer Club reserves the right to amend or conclude the trial and selection process at its discretion.
